Fayose reduces EKSU tuition
Ekiti state governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has announced the reduction of the tuition being paid by the students of the Ekiti state University from #50,000 to #30,000. He announced this on a radio/T.V program titled "meet your governor"
He also said the fees could be paid twice.

Fayose Condemns Open Defecation
The Ekiti state governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has condemned open defecation in most towns in the state, saying it has led to avoidable disease.
Speaking while monitoring the monthly sanitation in the state today; Saturday November 29, the governor charged land lords in the state to provide toilets in their houses.
He said it was shameful for the state to be noted for such un hygienic act, stressing the need to put a stop to it.

Kenyan bar association is calling for prosecution of men who publicly strip women because of the way they dress.
"The ongoing brutality that is stripping our women in public for allegedly dressing in an indecent manner must be brought to an end" Eric Mutua, Chairman Law Society of Kenya said in a statement.
OAU Students deny stoning President Jonathan during visit
The president, students union government Obafemi Awolowo chapter, Mr. Isaac Ibikunle has described as falsehood the report in some quarters that the students of the university hurled stones and missiles at the President during his visit to the campus on Friday.

Tambuwal asks court to jail IG for contempt
Speaker of the house of reps, Mr Aminu Tambuwal, has asked a federal high court in Abuja to summon the inspector general of police; Mr. Sulaiman Abba, to explain to the court why he should not be jailed for disobeying the court order.
Tambuwal accused Abba of consistently disobeying the court order made on November 7, 2014, which directed parties in his substantive suit filed to stop his removal as a member and speaker of the house of representatives.

PVC: INEC says Fashola, others must re register
The Independent National Electoral Commission on Friday failed to distribute permanent voters card at ward G3, State junior secondary school; the polling unit where Lagos state governor Mr. Babatunde Fashola(SAN) and his wife Ahimbola Fashola registered. It was learnt that some INEC officials had earlier posted a notice to notify voters who registered in both wards on Itolo street that they have no permanent voters card. The commission said the voters will have to register at a later date.
Lagos state resident electoral commissioner , Dr Adekunle Ogunmola, attributed the development to loss of data arising from the crash of their computing system.
OAU Students protest during President Jonathan's Visit
Students of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, staged what was called a "peaceful protest" during President Jonathan's visit.
The students said they were angry that all the activities at their school was suspended due to the President's visit.
They also claimed to be protesting the failure of the GEJ administration in the education sector.

3.Don't take offences: That someone is mad at you at a specific point in time does not mean they hate you. Exercise patience in dealings with people, as we all have our up and down moments.
4. Above all, love God; When you life God, You automatically love God in the lives of people around you and the favor is returned.

A Top Prison Boss gets seven years in prison for obtaining money by false pretence
The EFCC press statement released is as follows:
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday November 28 2014, secured the conviction of a top prison officer as Justice J.J Majebi of the Logo state high court Okene, convicted and sentenced Joseph Friday Idachaba, Deputy controller of prisons to seven years imprisonment for offences bordering on obtaining money by false pretence.
The convict is to pay the sum of # 1,403,114.09 in restitution to Nigerian Prison service.
